Rich-Tech product number
This document defines the naming convention of Rich-Tech RF module. The current existing RF modules will be assigned with part number.
Part number format
The part number for the RF module contains information of the module type, main functions and components on the module. The physical size of the module will also be specified by the part number. The following diagram shows the part number format for Rich-Tech RF module
　
Company code
The company code distinguish the part number of the module from other companies product.
R - Rich-Tech (HK) Ltd.
Module type code:
D - Data
A - Audio and data
V - Video and data
Z - ZigBee
U - USB interface
Frequency code:
43 - 433 MHz
89 - 863/915 MHz
24 - 2.4 G
Component code:
Component code specifies the combination of the components on the module. Even number indicates a duplex, and odd number indicates a simplex.
　
TX power code:
The power code indicates the transmitter power of the module. A higher power will cover longer range with down side as power consumption will be increase.
N - Normal
L - 10 db Power amplifier
H - 20 db Power amplifier
V - 27 ~30 db
RX gain code:
The RX gain code indicates the receive sensitivity of the module.
Z - None
L - 10 db LNA
T - 10 db
Size code:
The size code specifies the size of the module.
L - Large size
N - Standard size
S - Slim
